Scripps Networks International-owned channels Food Network and Fine Living are set to reach viewers in Benelux, Slovakia and the Czech Republic following a deal with the satellite operator M7 Group.

The Luxembourg-based M7 Group oversees a number of satellite and IP-based TV platforms, and reaches more than three million viewers. Scripps’ Travel Channel is already available in the region through a previous deal with M7 Group.

The latest agreement will see lifestyle channels Food Network and Fine Living debuting on platforms including Canal Digitaal (Netherlands), TV Vlaanderen (Belgium) and Skylink (Slovakia and the Czech Republic).

The deal will also make the nets available on M7′s recently launched IPTV platform in the Netherlands, online.nl.

“Following the success of Travel Channel in these regions, Scripps Networks International is pleased to announce this new deal with M7 Group that expands the distribution of two more of our lifestyle channels to key European markets via one of Europe’s leading TV providers,” said Jon Sichel, MD of Scripps Networks for the UK and EMEA, in a statement.
