The competition offers the winning pitch up to £25,000 (US$41,900) in development funding, with the finalists judged by Talpa the Talpa creative team at Realscreen London, October 9.

Talpa founder, John de Mol, the creative mind behind such global format smashes as The Voice, Big Brother, Fear Factor, Deal or No Deal and Utopia, will be on hand for the event to hear the pitches and critique them in person.

The inaugural edition of Realscreen London takes place at Congress Centre on Great Russell Street. Its aim: to further strengthen the emerging partnership paradigm between UK and international producers and global buyers by fostering networking, idea exchange and dialogue, as we have done over the past 16 years with the Realscreen Summit in Washington DC, – hailed as “one of the most essential events in the international TV calendar for UK indies” by Broadcast magazine – and for the past six years with Realscreen West in Santa Monica, CA.

Realscreen London will bring “the Realscreen experience” – namely, access to decision makers and potential production partners, and opportunities for discussion and debate – to the UK production and programming sectors. We look forward to seeing you there!
