U.S. net Bravo Media plans to share some colorful parenting wisdom in its forthcoming docuseriesĀ Extreme Guide to Parenting, set to premiere on August 7.

Each hour-long episode of the previously announced series will showcase two families that employ alternative parenting styles, whether it is “conscious-attachment” or “eco-kosher, shamanistic.”

While the Masterson-Horn couple never leaves the side of their adopted daughter, for example, Marisa Eisenberg has her four-year-old son memorizing the names of all the U.S. presidents and playing five sports.

Extreme Guide to Parenting is produced by Punched In The Head Productions (MTV’sĀ True Life), with Amelia D’Entrone, Craig D’Entrone and Lauren Lazin serving as executive producers.

The series will debut on Bravo on August 7 at 9.30 p.m. EST/PST.
