China’s CCTV and CCTV9 Documentary Channel will be the host broadcasters of the 22nd annual World Congress of Science and Factual Producers (WCSFP), set to take place in Beijing from November 18-21.

While the event is normally planned for late November, this year’s dates will directly coincide with the start of the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA), which runs from November 19 to 30.

Registration is now open for WCSFP, which promises a four-day program of workshops, networking, speed-pitching events and panels on industry trends and issues.

More than 600 international broadcasters, producers and distributors from over 25 countries are expected to descend on the Sofitel Wanda hotel in Beijing for the event.
