Brighton-headquartered distributor Electric Sky has made a number of international sales for environmental doc series The Tipping Points.

The Unboxed Media-made series (6 x 60 minutes / 6 x 30 minutes)  identifies various “tipping points” around the world that could potentially destabilize the climate system. In each episode, host Bernice Notenboom (pictured), a polar explorer and climate journalist, is joined by international environmental scientists as she travels to locations including Greenland, Brazil, India, Australia and the Antarctic.

Electric Sky has sold the series to Portugal’s TVI, Turkey’s Bugun, Italy’s Discovery, Norway’s NRK, Latin America’s Pramer, Denmark’s DRTV, Sweden’s SVT and Chello (Spektrum) for Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia.

The series was originally produced for broadcasters ARTE, WDR, The Weather Channel, Knowledge, TVO, VPRO and VRT, with Electric Sky picking up the rights to remaining global territories.
