U.S. cable network H2 has commissioned a 10 x 60-minute series called Museum Men, which follows a group of model builders specializing in museum relics.

The series – made by Storage Hunters and Container Wars indie T Group Productions - follows a team of re-creators as they build historically accurate museum relics and displays for clients around the country.

It also showcases the historical stories related to the objects, people and eras being recreated, with each episode culminating in a finished exhibit display. Museum Men is being exec produced by T Group’s Jenny Daly and Bill Rademaekers.

“What I am most excited about is that this fantastic team of creators is so passionate about the accuracy of historical recreations,” Daly, president of T Group Productions, told realscreen. “They truly utilize their expertise to assure that what they create is just like the real thing, down to the very finest detail.”

A premiere date for the series has not yet been announced.
