Twofour Arabia appoints Yara Awad as GM

The UK-headquartered indie producer has hired Yara Awad (pictured) to serve as general manager of its United Arab Emirates-based operations.

Twofour Arabia has hired Yara Awad (pictured) to be general manager of its United Arab Emirates-based operations.

She will be based in the London-headquartered indie’s Abu Dhabi office and will report to head of MENA Jonney Steven. She will manage a team of producers and production managers, and provide digital services to brands, broadcasters and the public sector in the country.

As an executive producer, Yara’s background covers factual entertainment, live TV and studio productions for companies and networks in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Jordan and the UK. Her credits include Twofour Arabia documentary commissions for Abu Dhabi Media and Dubai One’s flagship daily show, Studio One.

Twofour Arabia is part of the Twofour Group, which has offices in London, Plymouth, Los Angeles and Philadelphia.
