British TV personality Len Goodman (pictured) will join celebrities in revisiting their favorite summer holiday destinations in the upcoming BBC1 daytime series Holiday Of My Lifetime, premiering in early fall.

In the Raise the Roof Productions-made series, Goodman – a judge on shows such as Dancing with the Stars and Strictly Come Dancing - will accompany UK celebrities such as Eamonn Holmes, Matt Allwright and Esther Rantzen as they visit the sites of past summer vacations in Cornwall, the Isle of Wight, Blackpool, Devon and Scotland.

The series is currently filming in the UK.

“It’s been a real joy exploring the wonderful UK with personalities from across TV, radio and sport, reliving some of their humorous and heart-warming memories,” said Goodman in a statement. “This series will showcase the fun of a traditional summer holiday, hearkening back to times when the simple things – like the smell of fish and chips or a bucket and spade – made all the difference to a child.”

Jo Street, commissioning editor for BBC Daytime, added: “Being invited on holiday with Len Goodman as our guide was irresistible. We hope the combination of travel and nostalgia in the company of some famous faces will be a real treat for our audience.”

The series was commissioned by Street and Damian Kavanagh, the controller of BBC Daytime. Andrew Jackson is the executive producer and Curtis Leighton-Jones and Julie Grant are the series producers for Raise the Roof.
