Robert Earl (pictured), the founder and CEO of Planet Hollywood, is to debut his own Cooking Channel series on September 8.

Robert Earl’s Be My Guest finds Earl hosting celebrities and members of the public, in a bid to find the best dining secrets and destinations. The 13 x 30 minute series is produced for the U.S. network by Associated Television International.

Each episode will revolve around a theme – buffets one week, L.A. steakhouses another – and will see Earl will get into the kitchen, learn a few recipes, and then share a meal with his guest in a casual interview setting.

The show premieres on The Cooking Channel in the U.S. at 12 p.m. EST/ 9 a.m. PST on September 8.
