Public Russia broadcaster 360TV has commissioned Armoza Format’s factual format The Package, with Greece’s Alpha TV having licensed the program for a 10th season.

To be broadcast under the title Posilka, the Russian version of The Package will be hosted by actor Yana Poplavskaya and comprise 23 episodes. The Package is a format that is centered around a package passed on from one person to another. As the package crosses the country, stories are told, friendships are either forged or rekindled, and confessions are revealed as the recipient passes it on to someone who has changed their life.

“We are sure that The Package will become a great emotional experience for viewers of 360TV Russia,” said Vyacheslav Dukhin, general director of 360TV, in a statement. “The show brings us real life stories that are deeply touching, and describes how forces of love and hope sometimes change people’s lives.”

Avi Armoza, CEO of Armoza Formats, added in a separate statement: “Everyone has an interesting story to tell, and The Package gives them a platform to tell it in a very emotional and heartwarming way – it’s feel-good TV at its best.”
