Off the Fence gets Nat Geo TV’s Luck

Producer-distributor Off the Fence has hired National Geographic Television exec Geoffrey Luck (pictured) to serve as executive producer.

Producer-distributor Off the Fence (OTF) has hired National Geographic Television exec Geoffrey Luck (pictured) to serve as executive producer.

Luck, who will report to OTF founder and CEO Ellen Windemuth, has produced, directed, shot and edited more than 100 programs. His work has appeared on PBS, Discovery, Showtime and the Sundance Channel, and includes TV series Maneater ManhuntHunter & Hunted and Taboo.

He also exec produced the TV series The Incredible Dr. Pol and Monster Fish for Nat Geo Wild. He will be based in Amsterdam, but will mainly be shooting in Africa.

In a statement, Windemuth said: “We pride ourselves on hiring the very best producers in the world and Geoff has proven himself to be one of the best. His breadth of knowledge, expertise and experience will make him a great asset to the company, particularly as we continue to expand our global footprint and create content with international appeal.”
