Discovery pens deal with “Gypsy Sisters” producer

Discovery Communications’ in-house prodco Discovery Studios has penned a production deal with¬†Gypsy Sisters producer Shauna Thomas (pictured), who will develop and produce original programming for the group.

Thomas’s credits as an executive producer include three seasons of TLC’s Gypsy Sisters and Queen of Bling, WEtv’s L.A. Hair, TruTV’s Hulk Hogan’s Micro Championship Wrestling¬†and Bravo’s Launch My Line.

“Shauna’s accomplishments and relationships within the industry are a perfect complement to the Discovery Studios team and her collaboration with our arsenal of talented producers is sure to generate compelling, innovative programming for our clients,” said Lee Bartlett, president of Discovery Studios Group and Production, in a statement.

Thomas is represented by the Agency for the Performing Arts (APA).
