Bookstaver replaces Jacobson as Shine Int’l SVP

Ted Bookstaver (pictured) is to replace Tania Jacobson as Shine International’s senior VP and head of Americas, effective October 1.

The former Eyeworks International Distribution senior VP of international sales will oversee sales and acquisitions activity for Shine International in North and South America. Daniel Rodriguez, Miami-based VP of Latin America sales, and the LA-based sales team will report to him directly.

Bookstaver (pictured), an ex-VP, sales of King World International Productions,will report to Shine Int’l CEO Nadine Nohr and join the company for MIPCOM.

“Ted has a deep understanding of the value of IP and a proven track record in maximizing its value across scripted and non-scripted genres, traditional and new platforms, all the while building growth in each of his previous roles,” said Nohr in a statement.

Jacobson remains with Shine International as senior VP sales for the region.

Shine International distributes programming from the Shine Group’s scripted and non-scripted programming library, along with independent productions, to more than 240 territories around the world.
