SBS Australia has renewed an archive subscription agreement with ITN Source that provides the Australian broadcaster with access to the UK footage sales firm’s video archive.

ITN Source offers footage from a number of regions and includes archives for ITV Studios, Reuters (including access to historic newsreels from British Paramount, Universal, Gaumont, Empire News and Viz News), Fox News, Fox Movietone, Asian News International and others.

Since signing the exclusive agreement, SBS has used archival material in such programs as Dateline, Living Black, Tales of the Unexpected (pictured) and Black Panther Woman.

“ITN Source are proud to have been working with SBS since 2005 and with an exclusive subscription agreement since 2013 which has enhanced a number of their productions over that time,” said Caroline Clarke, territory sales manager for ITN Source, in a statement.
