UK channel ITVBe grabs “Bridezillas,” “Marriage Boot Camp”

Indie distributor DCD Rights has sold multiple seasons of its reality series Bridezillas and Marriage Boot Camp to soon-to-launch UK channel ITVBe.

Sasha Breslau, ITV’s head of acquired series, picked up seasons eight to 10 of Bridezillas¬†and the first two seasons of both Marriage Boot Camp: Bridezillas and Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars (pictured above), which will air later in the year after ITVBe launches October 8.

“These series are just the right fit for our new channel, which will be the go-to spot for brilliant and entertaining programmers featuring real lives and big characters,” said ITV’s Breslau in a statement.

The three seasons of Bridezillas (collectively 67 x 60-minutes), two seasons of Marriage Boot Camp: Bridezillas (collectively 24 x 60-minutes) and one season of Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars (8 x 60-minutes) were initially produced for We TV in the U.S.

Bridezillas is produced by DCD’s September Films. Marriage Boot Camp: Bridezilla is produced by ThinkFactory Media in association with September Films, and Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars is produced by ITV-owned indie ThinkFactory.
