International distributor Zodiak Rights will take a slate of programming from French prodco Memento to MIPCOM next month following a first-look development deal between the companies.

Formed in 2000, Memento specializes in factual programming and feature films for both French broadcasters and international networks.

Among the prodco’s Cannes-bound programming is 6 x 60-minute French military training docuseries The Insider (Planete, A&E; pictured above) and Aircraft (Planete), a 3 x 60-minute series showcasing international airplanes.

Memento is also producing hour-long special Italy’s Secret Deal (France 5), which promises to reveal connections between the Mafia, the Italian government and the CIA.

“We are thrilled to be working with Memento Films, who have a proven track record with broadcasters around the world and are experts in producing high-impact, adrenaline-fueled series fully orientated towards the international market,” said Andreas Lemos, VP of acquisitions for Zodiak Rights London, in a statement.
