U.S. indie Nancy Glass Productions is teaming up with producer Randy Counsman (pictured) to launch a joint venture prodco focused on making high quality docudrama, realscreen can reveal.

Counsman leaves Stephen David Entertainment – where he has served as VP of development, executive producer and writer over the past seven years – and joins Nancy Glass’s production team to launch the indie, which will be called Rearrange Media.

“We were looking for a way to expand into an area that we don’t cover that much, which is these kinds of dramatic recreations that Randy does so well,” company founder Nancy Glass tells realscreen. “He’s super creative, super cutting-edge, and we were just so impressed by him.

“We have a feature doc that we’re doing for LMN that we’re excited about, but we want to do more in that vein. I think it will be great to have another company under our umbrella.

“We want to expand,” she adds, “and we want to expand with people who do big things.”

Counsman’s credits as an EP at Stephen David Entertainment include the Emmy nominated The World Wars (History), Redrum (Investigation Discovery), The Men Who Built America (History) and Gold Fever (Discovery).

Nancy Glass’s shows include Animal Planet’s Tanked, We TV’s Staten Island Cakes, Travel Channel’s Dangerous Grounds and A&E’s Fix This Yard.
