Brooklyn-based prodco Part2 Pictures has named Emily Harding (pictured, right) as its new director of strategy, and upped Rachael Profiloski (left) to director of development, with both execs overseeing the company’s development slate and strategy.

Launched in 2007, Part2 produces series such as This is Life with Lisa Ling (CNN) as well as documentaries including An Honest Liar and Bronx Obama.

Harding previously served as head of development at Engel Entertainment, with credits including North Woods Law (Animal Planet) and Untying the Knot (Bravo). The exec started her career in programming for A&E and History and then went on to work as a producer for MTV International.

Meanwhile, Profiloski joined the company in 2010 as a story producer and helped develop Our America with Lisa Ling (OWN) while overseeing Part2′s overall development slate.  She will continue to work on the company’s non-scripted programming.

“We’re very excited to have Emily join us and bring her experience on the network and production side to our development strategy,” said Part2 founder David Shadrack Smith in a statement.

“Together with Rachael, their goal is to build a robust pipeline that builds on our current programming and continues our growth in new directions,” he added. “We are exploring a wider variety of formats and genres than ever before while keeping true to our authentic storytelling roots.  Rachael and Emily bring that sensibility to everything we are developing.”
