MIPCOM ’14: Terranoa pens deals for “Megastadium,” “Virtuoso”

Paris-based distributor Terranoa has secured a slate of deals for its series Globe Cooker and one-off specials Megastadium and Inside a Virtuoso’s Brain (pictured, L-R) ahead of MIPCOM later this month.

Italian broadcaster Rai picked up the 1 x 52-minute, Gedeon Programmes-made Megastadium, which chronicles the construction of the 50,000-seat Stadium of Lille.

Meanwhile, Effe TV renewed the rights to five seasons of culinary travel series Globe Cooker (30 x 52 minutes), which is also produced by Gedeon Programmes.

Lastly, Globosat and YLE acquired 1 x 52-minute, Docland Yard-produced doc Insider a Virtuoso’s Brain, which investigates the brains of musical prodigies at various ages.

The Cannes market runs from October 13 to 16.
