All3Media International taps Synn for digital post

UK-based distributor All3Media International has hired Gordon Synn, most recently global head of digital and home entertainment for Shine International, as its senior VP of digital and business development.

Synn will be based in the company’s London office and will report to managing director Louise Pederson. He’s tasked with driving the distributor’s digital strategy, monetization strategies for content and expanding the company’s relationships with its global digital partners.

He will work across the company’s portfolio of finished programs and formats including Gogglebox (pictured above) and new launches such as Algorithm.

Prior to his time at Shine International, Synn also held positions with Vodafone and Arqiva. Prior to those positions, he also held posts as VP of business affairs and general counsel for Fox Entertainment Group, and as VP of legal affairs for 21st Century Fox.

“Gordon brings a broad range of experience from the global broadcast, distribution and telecommunications fields and will be instrumental in implementing a range of exciting ongoing digital initiatives as well as sourcing and maximizing new opportunities,” said Pederson in a statement.
