Shine France has optioned Keshet International’s format Help! I Can’t Cook!, prior to its launch at MIPCOM next week.

The premiere of Help I Can’t I Cook! on Keshet Broadcasting met with a 46.2% share in Israel, according to Keshet. The format sees clueless celebrities competing and attempting to cook.

If picked up, the format would give Shine France, which is the territory’s local producer of MasterChef, a complimentary cooking show.

Shine France CEO Thierry Lachkar said: “The culinary competition is definitely a genre that we know very well. Help I Can’t Cook! fits into the DNA of our programming perfectly – a great quality entertainment show combined with feel-good TV.”
