The company was launched in March by former Picture Shack co-president Betsy Schechter with the intention of catering to TV, film, branded and multimedia outlets.

In her expanded role, Christopher – who will continue reporting to Storyville president Schechter – will oversee the company’s development and production teams as well as projects for H2, TruTV, Oxygen, Syfy and National Geographic, in addition to two series for MTV International.

Prior to joining the company, Christopher served as director of development for National Geographic Television where she developed docuseries and specials including Snake Salvation, Hard Riders and Kentucky Justice.
