U.S. net HBO will cut about 150 jobs across all divisions this week as a result of corporate-wide lay-offs at parent company Time Warner.

The round of lay-offs comes just weeks after Time Warner-owned Turner Broadcasting System (TBS) announced it would reduce its global workforce by about 10%, meaning the loss of around 1,475 jobs across all divisions.

A spokesperson for HBO declined to comment. It is unclear whether the network’s documentary division will face cuts, though it is understood that job cuts will occur across the board.

The lay-offs come weeks after HBO revealed plans to launch a stand-along streaming service next year.
