Asian Side of the Doc is heading back to China.

The sixth edition of the international documentary conference will take place from March 17-20 in the southeastern city of Xiamen, in Fujian Province.

The 2015 conference will be organized by Sunny Side of the Doc and Xiamen Doc, with the support of the MEDIA Programme of the European Union and China’s CCTV group.

Organizers say the focus of the upcoming event will be to educate delegates on how to develop “Asia to Asia” coproductions, as well as projects with Asian and international partners.

“As we did last year, we’ll bring well developed projects from China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and also from new players in Southeast Asia,” said Sunny Side CEO Yves Jeanneau (pictured) in a statement. “Pre-event workshops on March 16 have also been specially tailored to reinforce our longtime mission of encouraging high quality international coproductions.”

Other highlights will include the China Pitch taking place on the first day of the conference, in which delegates will be able to connect with Chinese buyers.
