SBS Holland picks up “Trash or Treasure”

Created by Mastiff Sweden and distributed by Zodiak Rights, the game show format challenges contestants to pick the most expensive antiques and win their value in cash.

Zodiak Rights has sold its first pickup of the primetime game show format, Trash or Treasure, to SBS Holland.

Created by Zodiak-owned Mastiff Sweden, the 8 x 60-minute series challenges contestants to pick the most expensive antiques and win their value in cash, and will launch on SBS in Spring 2015.

The sale follows a 10 x 60-minute first season of Trash or Treasure on TV4 Sweden, which, according to Zodiak, led ratings for its time slot each week.

The sale also marks the second for Mastiff Sweden within a week: Dropped, a realscreen MIPTV Pick for 2014, will appear on TV2 Norway following an international pickup by TF1 France.

Zodiak Rights owns worldwide distribution rights to both formats.
