“Citizenfour,” “Overnighters” among Critics’ Choice nominees

There are six doc category nominees for this year's Critics' Choice Movie Awards, including The Overnighters (pictured), Life Itself, and a film about singer Glen Campbell.

The Broadcast Film Critics Association has named six movies nominated for Best Documentary Feature at the 20th annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards.

The nominees are Citizenfour, Glen Campbell: I’ll Be Me, Jodorowsky’s Dune, Last Days in Vietnam, Life Itself and The Overnighters (pictured).

The awards feature 28 categories and are considered a foreshadowing of the Academy Award nominations, which will be announced the same day as the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards telecast, on January 15 at 9 p.m. EST.

The Broadcast Film Critics Association is the largest film critics organization in North America, representing more than 250 TV, radio and online critics.
