U.S. net Travel Channel has commissioned ITV-owned indie High Noon Entertainment to make the one-hour special The Trip: 2015, airing January 26 at 8 p.m. EST.

The special will be led by Travel Channel hosts Samantha Brown (pictured above), Bert Kreischer, Anthony Melchiorri and Don Wildman, and will see one viewer winning a US$100,000 Hawaiian adventure. It will showcase the Hawaiian islands Oahu, Maui, Kauai, Lanai and Hawaii Island.

From January 2 through March 24, viewers can submit an entry at travelchannel.com/thetrip for a chance to win the top prize.

In a statement, Ross Babbit, Travel Channel’s senior VP of programming and development, said: “The Hawaiian Islands are an adventure lover’s paradise and Travel Channel’s stars are creating a trip that’s unforgettable and truly epic. The Trip: 2015 gives unprecedented access to places and experiences you might only dream of; and one lucky fan gets to win it.”

Patrick Jager serves as High Noon’s executive producer and Bill Howard serves as EP for Travel Channel.
