Tremendous! Entertainment is expanding its development team.

The Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern producer has hired Liz Alderman (pictured, right) as director of development and Brandy Crawford (left) as senior manager of development.

Alderman most recently headed up casting on a Soshefeigh Media format now in development at a cable net. She also worked at TruTV where she developed Barmageddon, among other programs. Her casting and production credits include Fashion’s Night Out for CBS, Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style for Bravo and What Not To Wear for TLC.

Crawford was formerly the senior manager of development for History and was a founding member of the channel’s scripted department. Her credits include the documentary Gettysburg as well as the series Swamp People , Pawn Stars and Vikings.

“Liz has a unique ability to find those great characters that leap off the screen,” said Tremendous! president and CEO Colleen Needles. “And from her tenure at History Channel, Brandy has an excellent grasp of how to develop content that meets network needs.”

Both will be based in the company’s New York office and report to VP of development Andy Meyer.
