Passion Distribution has signed a first-look deal with Cardiff-based indie producer TiFiNi.

Founded by doc-maker Amanda Rees¬†three years ago, the company’s factual credits include the Channel 4 doc Finding Mum and Dad¬†(pictured), a Grierson-nominated program that looks at adoption parties designed to introduce children in the UK to prospective parents.

Rees has spent the past 20 years working in factual television for outlets such as National Geographic Channel, History, France Televisions and the BBC.

The company is also working on a yet-to-be-announced documentary project for the latter UK broadcaster, which will be part of the London-based distributor’s slate at MIPTV in April.
