Electus International has picked up the global distribution rights to WGN America’s docuseries Outlaw Country (pictured).

The seven x 60-minute series is set in Buckner, Missouri and chronicles a rivalry between law enforcement siblings Steve and Mike Cook – sheriff and head of the Buckner Criminal Task Force respectively – and a duo they believe are responsible for an upsurge in local crime. Producers from Bischoff Hervey Entertainment had access to both sides in the conflict.

Outlaw Country premieres on February 24 at 10 p.m. EST and 9 p.m. CST. It is the U.S. cable channel’s first unscripted drama.

The network is also rolling out multi-platform content that includes behind-the-scenes special Outlaw Country: Bad Blood that will air on WGN America and Tribune Broadcasting stations in the U.S., the country single “Good Ol’ Boys” and sponsorship of the EasyRiders 2015 Bikeshow Tour.
