Kate Blank named director of int’l sales for Blue Ant

In a bid to bolster its distribution division, Canadian broadcast company Blue Ant Media has named Kate Blank (pictured) as its director of international sales.

In a bid to bolster its distribution division, Canadian broadcast company Blue Ant Media has named Kate Blank (pictured) as its director of international sales.

In her new role, Blank will be responsible for licensing the company’s catalog in the Asia-Pacific region, German-speaking territories, the Middle East and Eastern Europe. Blue Ant Media’s international division contains more than 1,500 hours of factual, lifestyle and reality programming as well as docuseries and formats.

Blank was previously the director of international distribution at Breakthrough Entertainment, where she managed distribution and licensed programming across all genres.

“Kate’s experience, track record and extensive international relationships are a perfect fit for Blue Ant as the demand for our premium programming continues to grow worldwide,” said Solange Attwood, senior VP of international at Blue Ant Media, in a statement.
