Travel sets April airdate for Brian Unger series

U.S. cable net Travel Channel will premiere the series Time Traveling with Brian Unger (pictured) with back-to-back episodes on April 20.

Travel Channel has set an April air date for the series Time Traveling with Brian Unger.

Produced by Half Yard Productions, the series follows the former Daily Show correspondent and It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia star (pictured) as he examines little-known aspects of familiar American landmarks and locations such as the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, The Woolworth Building in New York City, Las Vegas’s Freemont Street and Wild West tourist town Tombstone, Arizona.

The U.S. cable net previously greenlit six episodes of the half-hour series but has since upped the order to 13 episodes.

Executive producers for Half Yard are Abby GreensfelderSean Gallagher and John Jones. Brian Leonard is exec producing for Travel.

Time Traveling with Brian Unger premieres with back-to-back episodes on April 20 at 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. EST/PST.
