French producer Elephant TV has acquired the Israeli factual entertainment format Tied to Mom (pictured) from Armoza Formats.

The one-hour format, which was developed by Artza Productions and Israel’s TV Format Fund (TVFF), is a comedic social experiment that requires a mother and adult child to spend three days tied together by a rope around their waists.

Last month, TVFF announced that an unnamed French production company had picked up Tied to Mom. The deal marks the first time Elephant and Armoza have partnered on a format.

In other Armoza French-market news, the company sold the dating show Guys In Disguise to network NRJ12 and Reservoir Prod picked up the celebrity entertainment format By Invitation Only.
