Nick Thorogood (pictured) is leaving Scripps Networks International amid a management restructure, realscreen has confirmed.

The senior vice-president of content and marketing for Scripps Networks UK and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) will be leaving in March, a Scripps spokesperson has confirmed, “to pursue other creative endeavors.”

Thorogood’s team will now report to Phillip Luff, who joined the company last year as managing director.

Thorogood joined Scripps five years ago as managing director for Food Network in the UK and EMEA five years ago. After the company acquired Travel Channel International, he became the senior vice president of content and marketing for channel brands Food Network, Fine Living and Travel Channel.

Prior to that, he worked as head of factual entertainment and formats for the BBC Commercial Agency, consultant for Tiscali TV, launch controller of Five Life and Five US, editor of ITV daytime and head of lifestyle channels for UKTV.
