A+E Networks Asia ups Pooja Nirmal Kant

The Asian arm of A+E Networks has promoted Pooja Nirmal Kant (pictured) to director of international content sales for the region.

A+E Networks has promoted Pooja Nirmal Kant (pictured) to director of international content sales for Asia.

Based in the company’s Singapore office, she will oversee distribution across Southeast Asia with a focus on driving sales of the cable giant’s scripted catalog, and will manage the client base in the region.

She will report to Glen Hansen, VP of international content sales for Asia-Pacific.

Kant joined A+E Networks in 2013 as senior manager for international content sales in Asia. Prior to that, she worked as an assistant manager in the sales development division of The Walt Disney Company’s Southeast Asian office. She has also worked for NBCUniversal International Television Distribution.
