As part of an “extensive” expansion and restructuring, Wahlburgers prodco 44 Blue Productions has upped former senior VP Sarah Poage (pictured, right) to executive VP, and promoted VP of programming David Hale (left) to senior VP.

Poage has been with 44 Blue for 13 years, first serving as a line producer and then being promoted to executive in charge and later senior VP. In her new role, the exec will take on oversight of business affairs and operations.

Meanwhile, Hale – who has been with the company for 17 years – has worked in most departments and has overseen the development and execution of all the prodco’s series. As senior VP, the exec will continue to manage the company’s franchises and help to expand its slate of programming.

“Our slate and the scope of our business have increased exponentially over the last few years,” said Rasha Drachkovitch, 44 Blue co-president, in a statement. “Sarah’s promotion to executive VP and David’s promotion to senior VP reflect increased responsibilities for senior management, as well as an opportunity to add new senior executives to our team.”

44 Blue – which this year celebrates its 30th anniversary – is currently in production on a number of series, including According to Alex for BET and the feature doc Rock and a Hard Place with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson for HBO.
