Jenn Kuzmyk joins Proper Rights

Jenn Kuzmyk has joined Toronto-based Proper Rights as its new director of distribution.

In her new position, Kuzmyk will be responsible for overseeing sales for Scandinavia, Benelux, the Middle East and German-speaking territories, as well as growing Proper’s catalogue by acquiring third party product.

Kuzmyk’s career in the international media industry spans 18 years. She has worked across numerous sectors of the business, including development, distribution, production and industry analysis.

Prior to joining Proper Rights, Kuzmyk worked with Toronto-based Boxing Cats Productions as a development consultant. Before that, Kuzmyk was VP development with Toronto’s Cream Productions from 2008 to 2013. She also spent 10 years working as the Canadian bureau chief for U.K. industry trade C21.
