Pop sets April airdate for “Queens of Drama”

The Thinkfactory Media-produced series follows six former soap opera stars aiming to land a pilot for their own drama series.

U.S. cable network Pop has set an April 26 airdate for the reality series Queens of Drama (pictured).

Produced by ThinkFactory Media, the 10-episode series follows six former daytime and primetime soap opera stars who develop, pitch and produce their own drama series with the goal of landing a pilot.

The cast members are Lindsay Hartley (All My Children, Days of Our Lives), Crystal Hunt (Guiding Light, One Life to Live), Vanessa Marcil (Las Vegas, General Hospital), Chrystee Pharris (Passions, General Hospital), Hunter Tylo (The Bold and The Beautiful) and Donna Mills (Knots Landing, Melrose Place).

The series will debut on April 26 at 10 p.m. EST/7 p.m. PST following the live broadcast of the 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. It will then move to its regular time slot of Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EST/PST on April 29.

Executive producers for Thinkfactory are Adam Reed, Adam Freeman, Aaron Fishman, Tim Laurie and Leslie Greif.
