UK distributor Cineflix Rights has acquired family reality series Bringing Up Bates (pictured) and hotel makeover program At Your Service.

Bringing Up Bates (seasons one and two, 34 x 30 minutes) follows the home life of Tennessee natives Gil and Kelly Jo Bates and their family of 19 kids, aged between two and 25. The second season of the series – produced by 19 Kids and Counting prodco Figure 8 Films – is to launch on UP TV in June.

Meanwhile, the Waddell Media-produced At Your Service (seasons one to three, 24 x 30 minutes) follows hotel experts and brothers Francis and John Brennan as they carry out makeovers of struggling hotels across Ireland.

The acquisition of Bringing Up Bates was brokered by Anthony Kimble, VP of coproductions and North American acquisitions for Cineflix Rights, while the deal for At Your Service was negotiated by Kate Laffey, director of acquisitions for the company.

Both shows will be launched at next month’s MIPTV market in Cannes, which runs from April 13 to 16.
