U.S. cable net ABC Family has greenlit three reality series.

Startup U, Next Step Realty: NYC and Monica the Medium (pictured) will join previously announced unscripted series Job or No Job and Becoming Us (formerly My Transparent Life) on the Disney/ABC-owned channel’s summer slate.

The Ugly Brother Studios-produced Startup U is a one-hour series about a group of entrepreneurial millennials studying in a seven-week start-up program at Silicon Valley’s Draper University with the hope of landing financing to launch a business.

Mike Duffy, Tim Duffy and Draper University founder Tim Draper serve as executive producers. Production begins this month in San Mateo, California.

Next Step Realty: NYC is another business-oriented docuseries. Produced by Lincoln Square Productions, the series follows employees at the titular, Manhattan-based real estate firm, which helps recent college grads find apartments in New York City. Danielle Rossen is exec producing.

Lastly, Trooper Entertainment and Lionsgate TV are producing Monica the Medium, a series about a junior at Penn State who says she can talk to the dead. Dave Caplan and Malachi McGlone are exec producing.

ABC Family has put a new emphasis on unscripted programming of late. In February, the network hired former Nigel Lythgoe Productions president Kary McHoul for the newly created role of SVP of unscripted programming and development.
