U.S. indie T Group Productions has penned a copro deal with Canadian producers Jay Kovitz (pictured, right) and Matthew Kershaw (left) of Real Housewives of San Diego prodco Interior Day Entertainment.

Under the deal, Kovitz and Kershaw are to focus on creating new unscripted formats and docuseries to be co-produced with T Group for both the U.S. and Canadian markets. The company will also relocate to T Group’s Santa Monica office to work with Jenny Daly (center), president of T Group, as well as Rob Lobl, executive VP of development and current programming.

Daly, Kovitz and Kershaw will serve as executive producers on all series.

Founded in 2010, Interior Day produces across all genres and its portfolio includes such series as 23 (Roger’s Sportsnet), Puppy SOS (Slice Canada) and At the End of My Leash (Slice Canada, National Geographic Channel), among others.

The Interior Day partnership comes just months after T Group linked with Jack Osbourne’s Osbourne Media for a similar deal that will see the companies developing unscripted formats and docuseries in the U.S. and UK. The Osbourne Media team will also be situated out of T Group’s Santa Monica outpost.

In December, T Group also inked a copro deal with London- and LA-based prodco Znak&Jones, with a focus on projects for the UK market.

“Matthew and Jay have strong relationships with broadcasters and an impeccable track record for producing content that performs across multiple platforms,” said Daly in a statement. “We’re excited about bringing their creativity and their slate to the U.S. as well as expanding our initiatives in Canada.”

Kovitz and Kershaw added in a joint statement: “Jenny is a dynamo – a seasoned producer and an innovative entrepreneur. Her T Group team has an incredible reputation for being skillful developers and accomplished producers across all unscripted genres. There’s no better place for us to continue to grow our slate Stateside and to collaborate with for our Canadian productions.”
