CNN Original Series has set an April 19 premiere date for the docuseries High Profits, on a couple of Colorado entrepreneurs looking to be the “moguls of marijuana.”

The 8 x 60-minute series – produced by Bat Bridge Entertainment – follows Brian Rogers and Caitlin McGuire, who are set on franchising recreational marijuana.

In the series premiere, the couple gears up to put its plan in motion on the eve of Colorado’s Amendment 64 – which legalizes marijuana for recreational use – taking effect.

After operating for four years as a medical dispensary in Breckenridge’s historic Main Street, the pair goes about launching a marijuana store, but comes up against tensions from locals who fear the shop could scare off tourists.

High Profits will air on April 19 at 10 p.m. EST/PST.
