First Hand Films inks deals with Australia, Mexico

The Swiss distributor has inked deals with Australia's Foxtel and Mexico's Canal Once for a slate of titles, including America in Primetime and Five Days to Dance (pictured).

Swiss distributor First Hand Films has inked deals with Australia’s Foxtel and Mexico’s Canal Once for a slate of programs including America in Primetime and Five Days to Dance (pictured).

Foxtel picked up a package of titles for their history and biography slots, including America In Primetime (4 x 52′), as well as three titles from the My Life series, featuring Gore Vidal (1 x 45 minutes), Helmut Newton (1 x 52 minutes) and Isabella Rossellini (1 x 52 minutes).

Additional titles acquired by the broadcaster are Harry Dean Stanton – Partly Fiction (1 x 54 minutes), Whoopi Goldberg Presents Moms Mabley (1 x 54 minutes), Love Hate Love (1 x 52 minutes), Radical Evil (1 x 52 minutes) and Jerusalem Cuts (1 x 52 minutes).

Elsewhere, Mexico’s Canal Once took Five Days To Dance (1 x 79 minutes), which was shopped by First Hand Films at last week’s MIPTV market in Cannes.
