E! confirms Bruce Jenner docuseries

U.S. cable net E! Entertainment and Bunim/Murray Productions are teaming up for an 8 x 60 minute, as yet untitled docuseries exploring the transition of the former Olympic star (third from left) from male to female.

Amid speculation and despite earlier reports to the contrary, U.S. cable net E! Entertainment and Bunim/Murray Productions are teaming up for an 8 x 60 minute, as yet untitled docuseries exploring Jenner’s transition from male to female.

The series starring the former Olympic gold medal winner and stepfather to Kim Kardashian and siblings, will air in the U.S. and on E! channels internationally, with its premiere set for July 26.

In a release, the network stated that Jennifer Finney Boylan, national co-chair of the board of directors for GLAAD; Dr. Marie Keller, founder and director of the Los Angeles Gender Center; and Susan P. Landon, director of child and adolescent services at the Los Angeles Gender Center, will serve as consultants on the series.

Bruce Jenner will executive produce, with Gil Goldschein, Jeff Jenkins, Farnaz Farjam and Andrea Metz exec producing for Bunim/Murray Productions.
