CMT sets May airdate for game show “Pontoon Payday”

The 495 Productions game show Pontoon Payday (pictured), which features party boat passengers competing for cash, will premiere on U.S. cable network CMT on May 14.

U.S. cable net CMT will premiere the game show Pontoon Payday (pictured) next month.

Produced by Jersey Shore prodco 495 Productions, the half-hour series is billed as “the first-ever game show on a boat” and plucks unsuspecting passengers from party boats and transplants them into a game show hosted by comedian Frank Nicotero.

The contestants must answer a series of questions correctly to avoid being tossed overboard. The winners receive cash prizes.

The show will premiere on May 14 at 10 p.m. EST/PST following the season two premiere of reality series Party Down South 2—also from 495 Productions—at 9 p.m.

Executive producers are SallyAnn Salsano and Joel Zimmer. Jayson Dinsmore, Morgan Selzer and Matt Trierweiler are exec producing for the network.
