U.S. cable net CMT will premiere the game show Pontoon Payday (pictured) next month.

Produced by Jersey Shore prodco 495 Productions, the half-hour series is billed as “the first-ever game show on a boat” and plucks unsuspecting passengers from party boats and transplants them into a game show hosted by comedian Frank Nicotero.

The contestants must answer a series of questions correctly to avoid being tossed overboard. The winners receive cash prizes.

The show will premiere on May 14 at 10 p.m. EST/PST following the season two premiere of reality series Party Down South 2—also from 495 Productions—at 9 p.m.

Executive producers are SallyAnn Salsano and Joel Zimmer. Jayson Dinsmore, Morgan Selzer and Matt Trierweiler are exec producing for the network.
