There is still time to register for the 7th edition of Realscreen West in Santa Monica, CA, the west coast’s largest and most relevant international gathering of content creators, distributors and broadcasters in today’s non-fiction and unscripted entertainment industry.

Realscreen events are known for inspirational and timely content presented in an interesting variety of formats ranging from structured networking, to debates, keynotes and panel discussions including Trendwatch: Keeping it Real .

It’s been an unscripted buzzword for years but whereas in the past the term “authenticity” was used to describe docusoap characters and worlds, now the word is used to denote experiences and production techniques. In a move away from “over-produced” reality, GoPro-outfitted casts are filming themselves in the field, with adventure and excitement being the key elements for various U.S. cable nets. Here, network executives and producers behind the trend discuss what it takes to “keep it real” but also keep it entertaining.

Last year’s record-breaking event attracted nearly 1,100 delegates from around the globe, including 300 buyers of unscripted programming, and we’re on track to shatter those attendance numbers.

Don’t miss out on Luncheon Roundtable sign ups beginning tomorrow (May 6). Register now and get access to this great networking opportunity!

Registration includes admission to the Realscreen Awards. You can register online or by calling Joel Pinto at 1-416-408-2300 ext. 650.
