Endemol Shine UK-owned multi-channel network (MCN) ChannelFlip has unveiled a new management team.
The MCN, which has more than 20 million subscribers and more than 180 channels, was owned by Shine Group prior to last December’s Endemol, Shine and Core Media Group merger. It will continue to operate as a separate entity alongside the Endemol Shine Group digital channels venture Endemol Beyond.
Both ChannelFlip and Endemol Beyond UK will be overseen by commercial director Laurence Jones, as ChannelFlip’s creative director Jamie Lennox and commercial director Matt Rook prepare to leave the company in early summer. The pair will announce details of their next venture in due course, according to the company.
Jules Fuller, an exec producer with Endemol Shine UK’s commercial team, will step into the creative director role to head up digital programming. Head of branded partnerships Caroline Reik will become director of branded content and creative producer Riyad Barmania has been promoted to content director.
Both Fuller and Reik will report to Jones.
“Jamie and Matt have done a fantastic job helping shape ChannelFlip in their roles, and in the last few months bringing the company under one roof,” Jones said in a statement. “They are leaving the business in great shape for Jules and Caroline, who have the commercial and production experience to step into these new roles as part of an enhanced digital offering.”
ChannelFlip also specializes in digital talent representation – through its Flipside division – and runs the YouTube creator event Skip Festival in London.
