Discovery Italia has picked up the primetime game show format Trade Up (pictured) from Keshet International.

The multichannel group will air the show this fall on a channel to be confirmed. In the show, two competing families answer assorted trivia questions and employ tactics to eliminate their rivals. Once one family is left as the winner, it will have to decide whether to keep the car it has won or try to “trade up.”

The Israeli producer/distributor debuted the format at MIPTV in April. The company is pitching the format as a branded-content opportunity and says it has attracted several brand partners for the Israeli version.

Prima TV in Romania has also ordered a local version of the format.
