MTV Int’l greenlights “Judge Geordie”

MTV has announced three series for its UK and international channels including a spin-off of the hit Geordie Shore (pictured), and renewed two.

Judge Geordie (10 x 60 minutres) features Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison, traveling across the UK to solve couples’ relationship problems. Lime Pictures produces.

Car Crash Couples (8 x 60 minutes) is a new dating format from 5Production for MTV International which marks the first commission for Channel 5′s in-house production team from a Viacom network since the U.S.-headquartered media company’s acquisition of Channel 5. Premiering in the UK in 2016, the series follows four couples on a road trip across Mexico.

Hire Me (w/t, 8 x 60 minutes) is produced by Remedy Productions and features young people who haven’t been able to hold down jobs but get the “surprise of their lives” when applying for their dream jobs.

Returning to MTV in the UK and across its international channels are Geordie Shore for its 11th series, and Ex on the Beach for its third.

Also featured as part of its music-based summer slate is another series of Relentless Ultra Presents Soundchain, a partnership between MTV and the energy drink, produced by JJ Stereo, which features artist interviews and performances.
