Ryan Seacrest to host Fox’s “Knock Knock Live”

The American Idol host (pictured) is teaming with Idol creator Simon Fuller's XIX Entertainment and Dick Clark Productions to host and exec produce the wish-fulfillment series Knock Knock Live, which will premiere on Fox in July.

American Idol’s Ryan Seacrest (pictured) will host and executive produce the Fox reality series Knock Knock Live.

Produced by Idol franchise creator Simon Fuller’s XIX Entertainment and Dick Clark Productions, the series will premiere on July 21 at 9 p.m. EST/PST.

In the show, the American Idol host and Keeping Up With the Kardashians producer will watch from a Los Angeles studio as a production team knocks on people’s doors and gives them a chance to win prizes and meet their favorite celebrities and pro athletes.

Seacrest has hosted the Fox singing competition American Idol since 2002. The network recently announce that the show’s upcoming 15th season will be its last.

In addition to Seacrest and Fuller, Knock Knock Live is exec produced by Michael Herwick, Allen Shapiro, Mike Mahan, Mark Bracco, Stijn Bakkers and Nicolle Yaron.Fuller, Seacrest, Dick Clark Productions and Fox are stakeholders in the format worldwide.
